We decided to make advertisements for our paper because newspapers
have lots of them. We wanted our paper to be realistic. We had some great
ideas from all of our team members. Everybody had fun making up ads that
were colorful and eye-catching to put on the site. Two of our ads were
special in that one of them was donated by Monster.com and the other
connects to a separate web page we built.
The following is a quick overview of all our ads.

|
This ad for LIGHTGUARD
space helmets connects to its own web page.
We found that a lot of ads are connected to
the
company's
web page
that is selling
the product or service. This particular ad is like an infomercial
and is based in current science.
Melissa developed this ad and wrote the content on its web page. |

We would like to thank Monster.com for the ad
on our home page. We think that someday there may be jobs on the
moon. Monster.com agreed and enthusiastically created this ad.
The designers at Monster, Christen, Jessica and Kerry, made this
ad happen. |

|
This is an ad for Moonoco - the fictional Helium-3
mining company discussed in the Moon Wars article and the video.
We borrowed the sunburst from www.sunburstaward.org.
Melissa created this ad. |

|
This is an ad for the Apollo Sports complex. It complements
our article on sports on the moon.
Jake wrote the article and developed the ad. |

|
Chris came up with the idea for this ad and Grant helped
to build the design in PhotoShop. |

|
Grant came up with the idea and design for this CRAZY
ad. |

|
We thought this was a funny play on words. You can lose weight
just by going to the moon! |

This ad was designed by Melissa. |

This ad was made for MNN news, the fictional
news station on the moon featured in our video.
